Set it up yourself, or have our technicians install everything for you — either way you get the same professional-grade Alarm.com system. Self-monitored security in the Alarm.com app. Professional monitoring launching soon.
Already have a panel? $0 activation when it checks out online — allow up to 48 hours to connect.
If your home already has an Alarm.com-compatible system — like a Qolsys IQ Panel — we can take it over remotely and reprogram it to report to us. No rip-out, no new equipment, no long-term contract. $0 activation when your panel checks out online, regular $99. Allow up to 48 hours to connect.
The IMEI is the 15-digit number on the cellular communicator inside your panel — usually on a sticker under the panel lid or on the back plate. Some panels also show it under Settings → System Info. If you can't reach it, skip it: we'll assess your system from the panel model and a photo instead.
Switch & Save is for homes. Business and commercial sites get a free takeover assessment instead - activation is quoted separately.
Usually takeover-ready
Commercial panels, access control and fire systems are quoted separately after a site visit.
What we need from you
Residential accounts only - business and commercial sites get a free takeover assessment but the activation is quoted separately. Offer applies to new residential monitoring accounts activated by takeover of an eligible Alarm.com-compatible system; reduced activation is applied after approval. Requires release or dealer transfer from your current provider and a passed takeover assessment. Keep your current monitoring active until we confirm your switch. Subject to successful manual or authenticated partner verification, current-provider release or transfer where required, and activation.
Altium 360 is built on Alarm.com — the professional security and automation platform trusted by millions across North America.
Arm, disarm and check whether the house is secure from your phone — at work, on holiday, or already in bed.
Your cameras tell the difference between a person, a vehicle, an animal and a delivery — so an alert always means something.
Doors unlock, lights come on and the temperature adjusts as you come home — without touching a single device.
Smoke, carbon monoxide, water leaks and freezing temperatures are watched by the same system, on the same app.
See who came in and when, control who has access, and check any site from your phone — one door or twenty.
Every alert arrives with video and two-way audio, so you can check in seconds instead of guessing.

Your kit ships pre-paired and ready to activate. Peel-and-stick sensors, plug-in panel, and a guided in-app walkthrough — most homes are up and running in about thirty minutes. Prefer not to lift a finger? Our certified technicians can install and configure everything for you.
Receive system alerts on your phone through the Alarm.com app. Professional monitoring is launching soon; until then, self-monitored plans keep you informed without central station dispatch.
Most starter kits install in 30–45 minutes. Larger kits with cameras and a doorbell take 90–120 minutes. The step-by-step guide walks you through every device.
Self-monitoring sends alerts to your phone and you decide what to do. Professional monitoring routes alarms to a 24/7 centre that follows a standard dispatch workflow, subject to availability in your region.
Devices keep recent state on the hub. For uninterrupted alarm transmission, add the cellular backup option (placeholder pricing) so the hub can still reach the monitoring centre.
Our motion sensors include a pet-immunity setting suitable for most pets under ~40 lbs. Placement matters — keep them out of direct sightlines of stairs and furniture pets jump on.
Answer a few quick questions and we'll recommend the right Altium 360 system for your property.
