How switching works
1. Free assessment of your current system
Tell us your panel brand and what's installed. We confirm — in writing, by email — what carries over and what doesn't. No cost, no obligation, no salesperson at your door.
2. We re-use compatible sensors and swap the panel
Most door/window contacts, motions and smokes can be re-enrolled. Where a sensor isn't compatible, we tell you up front and quote the replacement before anything is scheduled.
3. Activation on the Alarm.com app — allow up to 48 hours to connect
Once the panel is in place we set up monitoring and your Alarm.com account — arming, notifications, cameras and automations. Allow up to 48 hours to connect.

- No. Altium 360 monitoring is month-to-month and you can cancel any time. You own the equipment we install.
- Can I keep my existing sensors?
- Usually yes. Most wireless sensors can be re-enrolled on a compatible panel. The free assessment confirms exactly what carries over before you commit.
- What does the takeover offer include?
- Residential accounts receive a free takeover assessment and $0 activation when their panel checks out online. Business and commercial sites receive a free assessment, with activation quoted separately.
- Will a salesperson come to my home?
- Never. Everything is handled online and by email — a technician only attends when installation work is actually needed.
$0 activation applies to verified residential self-install takeovers where the communicator check comes back compatible. One per household. Professional install, manual review, transfers and reactivations are quoted at their standard rates. Commercial accounts are quoted separately based on site requirements. Alarm.com account and compatible Qolsys panel required. Panel must be released by the current provider before activation. All prices in Canadian dollars. Taxes vary by province.
