- Usually yes. Older wireless sensors transmit on a fixed frequency (433, 345 or 319.5 MHz) and our panels can be fitted with the matching legacy radio, so only the panel changes.
- What if my system is hardwired?
- Hardwired door and window contacts land on a DSC IQ Pro, keeping your wiring while adding cellular, app control and PowerG for new devices.
- What if I don't know my brand?
- Send a photo of the panel in the Takeover Check. A technician reviews it and emails a definite answer within one business day — we never guess.
- Who installs it?
- Swap it yourself in under an hour, or book a certified technician with the exact time estimate shown before you confirm.
