From unboxing to armed — usually under an hour for a typical home.

   Create your Altium360 account

   Sign up with your email, verify it, and choose a strong password. Your account holds every system, user, and invoice in one place.

   Choose the right package

   Use the Package Builder to size a kit by property type and number of ground-floor openings, or ask the AI Security Advisor for a recommendation.

   Install your equipment

   Unbox the panel, mount sensors on doors and windows, and place motion detectors in main hallways. Most homes are installed in 30–60 minutes.

   Activate the Alarm.com app

   Download the Alarm.com app, sign in with the credentials your activation email includes, and add your panel. Grant camera, location, and notification permissions.

   Choose your monitoring plan

   Choose self-monitoring or 24/7 professional monitoring with police, fire and medical dispatch, where available. You can switch plans anytime — there's no long contract.

   Run a walk-test

   Put the panel in test mode and trigger every sensor and camera one by one. Confirm each device reports in the app before arming for real.
