Z-Wave deadbolt that pairs to the panel and unlocks with codes, the app, or automation rules.

Step-by-step

1. 1Remove the old deadbolt and install the smart lock per the product template.
2. 2Insert batteries and enable pairing from the lock's keypad.
3. 3On the panel, choose Settings → Devices → Add Z-Wave → Lock and follow prompts.
4. 4In the app, create user codes for family and time-limited codes for guests.

Common mistakes

• • Forcing the bolt — align the strike plate first.
• • Assigning weak 1234-style codes.
