Install: Indoor camera
Wi-Fi camera with two-way audio and motion-based recording to the Alarm.com cloud.
Tools needed

- • 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi

Step-by-step
- 1In the Alarm.com app, tap +Add Device → Camera and scan the QR code on the back.
- 2Choose your Wi-Fi network (2.4 GHz) and enter the password.
- 3Place the camera facing the main entry, avoiding direct light sources.
- 4Set a recording rule: Motion, Alarm Only, or Continuous (subscription-dependent).
Common mistakes
- • Trying to join a 5 GHz-only network.
- • Aiming at a window — glare and IR reflection will blur night video.
Troubleshooting
- • Won't connect: forget the network in phone settings, reboot the router, retry.
