Install: Doorbell camera
Wired doorbell with HD video, motion zones, and person detection.

- • Drill (if new wiring)

Step-by-step
- 1Turn OFF the doorbell circuit at the breaker and confirm with a voltage tester.
- 2Remove the old button and connect the two low-voltage wires to the doorbell terminals.
- 3Mount the doorbell, restore power, then add it in the Alarm.com app.
- 4Adjust motion zones and set chime type (mechanical, digital, or app-only).
Common mistakes
- • Wiring live — always kill the breaker first.
- • Skipping the wedge on angled trim.
Troubleshooting
- • No video: verify transformer is 16 V AC or higher.
